Aktualisiert am 15. April 2026
This guide walks you through connecting Google Analytics (GA4) to Profitario to import visitor, session, and conversion rate data.
Prerequisites#
- A Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property set up for your store.
- Access to the Google account that owns or manages the GA4 property.
OAuth Authorization#
- In Profitario, go to Settings > Integrations.
- Find Google Analytics in the Analytics section.
- Click Connect.
- You will be redirected to Google's authorization page.
- Log in and grant Profitario the requested permissions.
- You will be redirected back to Profitario.
Selecting GA4 Properties#
After authorization, Profitario displays all GA4 properties accessible from your Google account.
- Select the GA4 property that corresponds to your Shopify store.
- Click Enable to begin importing analytics data.
What Data Is Imported#
Profitario imports the following metrics from Google Analytics:
- Visitors -- unique users visiting your store
- Sessions -- total browsing sessions
- Conversion rate -- percentage of sessions resulting in a purchase
This data is used in attribution and customer analytics reports within Profitario.
Token Refresh#
Google Analytics tokens are automatically renewed by Profitario. Manual reconnection is rarely needed.
Troubleshooting#
- No properties appear: Verify your Google account has access to the GA4 property in Google Analytics admin.
- Data not showing in reports: Ensure the correct GA4 property is selected (not a Universal Analytics property). GA4 properties have numeric IDs without the "UA-" prefix.
- Visitors or conversion rate is zero: Check that your GA4 property is receiving traffic data. Verify the GA4 tracking snippet is installed on your Shopify store.
