Why Is the Cost from AliExpress Missing on the Dashboard?

AliExpress costs are matched to Shopify orders via tracking numbers. If costs are not appearing, check the following.
Requirements#
- Orders must be paid and shipped in AliExpress
- Tracking numbers must match between AliExpress and Shopify
- Click Update Orders to sync the latest data
Cost Priority System#
AliExpress costs interact with the cost priority system:
| Priority Level | Source |
|---|---|
| Level 1 (lower) | Manual COGS (product-level costs) |
| Level 2 (higher) | AliExpress / CSV / manual order costs |
Level 2 always overwrites Level 1. This means AliExpress costs will override product-level COGS when a match is found.
Partial Fulfillment#
For orders with partial fulfillment, you can set manual costs on the order. These will auto-update when the AliExpress cost arrives and a tracking number match is found.
