Retail Days and Holidays in Benchmarks

Benchmarks marks retail days and public holidays on the order volume trend and the ad efficiency chart, so you can see at a glance why orders or ROAS went up or down. Dates differ by country and region, so you choose the countries your customers are in.

Change Your Calendar#

In the sidebar, open Benchmarks and click the Calendar button at the top right of the report. The button lists your current countries.

Which Days Are Marked#

Retail days are always marked: Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Singles' Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, the Christmas shipping cutoff (18 December, a typical last day for standard delivery before Christmas) and Christmas Eve.

Public holidays of your countries are added when you turn on Show public holidays above a chart. Profitario knows the national public holidays of more than 200 countries.

When you select several countries, a day that only applies to some of them shows the country codes, for example "Father's Day (DE)". Hover over the chart to see the days marked on a date.

Limits#

  • Retailer events with announced dates, such as Prime Day, are not marked.
  • The Christmas shipping cutoff is one fixed date. Your carriers' real cutoffs can be a few days earlier or later.
  • Holidays are national. Regional holidays, such as those of a single German state, are not marked.
