Ad Efficiency and ROAS by Platform
Updated October 3, 2026
Two cards at the bottom of Benchmarks compare your advertising with other stores: your blended ad efficiency day by day over the last 12 months, and your ROAS (return on ad spend) on each ad platform.

Ad Efficiency over Time#

Every point is a rolling 7-day value, one per day, so a single big order or a day without spend does not swing the line. The peer range follows the season: a weaker ROAS in November is only a problem when your line falls out of the range. Turn on Show public holidays to add holidays to the marked days.
| Metric | Calculation | Better |
|---|---|---|
| Blended ROAS | Net sales divided by total ad spend | Higher |
| Ad spend share | Ad spend as a share of net sales | Lower |
| Ad cost per order | Ad spend divided by orders | Lower |
Who the range is made of. Every store with Profitario installed, at least 30 orders in the last 90 days, and ad spend of at least 1% of its net sales in that 7-day window. This chart does not use your peer group, so the range stays stable from day to day. Days without enough advertising stores for a statistically meaningful range are left out.
Your line is empty for windows without ad spend, sales or orders.
ROAS by Ad Platform#

The ROAS per platform is attributed revenue (last touch, the same as in the Ad Spend report) divided by the platform's spend. You are compared only with stores in your peer group that advertise on the same platform and record attribution, because a store without attribution would show no revenue.
Which platforms are listed. Every platform you spend on, then platforms used by at least 20% of your peer group, sorted by your spend. Each row says what share of similar stores use the platform. A platform you do not use shows Not used, which can point to a channel worth testing.
Values marked ≈. Not enough stores in your peer group advertise on the platform with attribution on for a statistically meaningful comparison, so every store that does is used instead. Not enough peer data means there are not enough such stores in total. Weeks without enough advertising stores are left out of the chart.
Turn It On#
Without the Profitario Pixel, the card shows "Turn on attribution to compare ROAS per ad platform." See Turn On the Profitario Pixel. Platform ROAS builds up from the day attribution starts recording.
