Import Shopify Shipping Labels

Updated October 2, 2026

If you buy shipping labels in Shopify, Profitario can read the price of each label from the order's history in Shopify. The import is off until you turn it on.

Where
In the sidebar: Expenses > Shipping, then Settings.
Who
Stores that buy their shipping labels in Shopify.
Time

Updates
An import of your existing orders starts right away. New labels follow with the hourly update.

Turn On the Import#

Turn On the Import

If Requires permission update is shown under the store's name, turning on the switch first opens a request to update the app's permissions in Shopify.

What Happens Next#

  • An import of your existing orders starts right away. After that, new labels are picked up with the hourly update.
  • The import looks at orders of the last 12 months that have a fulfillment. Shopify does not keep the label history longer. A large order history is worked through in batches over several hourly updates.
  • The cost of an order is the labels bought for it minus the labels voided for it, in your store's currency.
  • For an order with a label, the label cost replaces your shipping rules and the amount the customer paid. Orders without a label keep the cost from the next source.

Limits#

  • Label costs can be imported for the last 12 months only.
  • A label cost and a rule are never added together, and a rule cannot top up a label cost.
